Home Teacher Phonics
Teaching Phonics, the building blocks for learning to read!
The Phonics Series has been designed to help parents teach their children phonics awareness.
The sounds are presented orally. The sequence separates letters (similar either visually or auditorily), uses lower case letters only, and includes only one vowel in any group of letters.
The program is very simple to use by the student, without the need for supervision. The program does not allow the student to have an incorrect response reinforced, or move forward, unless the correct response is made.
The program can be used with students who are experiencing reading and writing difficulties, those in a skills acquisition stage of learning to read and write and is of great benefit to those for whom English is a second language (ESL).
Its sequenced, self-paced style can consolidate good teaching practice and reinforce an individual classroom remedial program
